Terms of Sale
1) DEPOSIT of $50.00 will reserve the animal of your choice. Receipt of said deposit will not only secure the reservation of your choice animal but also acts as implied consent on your behalf to comply with these terms.
2) Since we cannot possibly have any control over how animals are managed once leaving our possession, it will also be understood that, upon the animal leaving this property, all liabilities & responsibilities for the animal immediately transfer to the Buyer.
3) PAYMENT must be in "guaranteed funds": cash, money order etc. I also take PayPal. Unless prior arrangements are agreed upon before pickup of the animal.
4) BALANCE/PICKUP/SHIPPING is due within 2 weeks of notification of animal being ready to go. PLEASE NOTE: If balance is not received within 2 weeks, animals will be offered to the next interested party & your deposit will be forfeited. If animals are not picked up/shipped within the allotted period, a boarding fee of $1.00 per day for weaned kids & dry stock, & $2.00 per day for kids still on milk & milkers will be applied after that time. Any & all “outstanding monies” must be satisfied prior to the animal leaving our farm. Please be advised that there will be no refunds on cancelled orders.
If goats are shipped, the purchaser is responsible for all shipping expenses and health certificates.
5) When making kid reservations, please make a 2nd choice in the event that your 1st choice isn't born/available. If both 1st & 2nd choices are not available, your deposit can be applied to another, available animal or breeding of your choice or rolled over to the following year. We reserve the right to retain any kid as we see fit (if this happens, your deposit will be refunded). Please be advised however, that there will be no refunds on canceled orders.
RETURNS
We do not guarantee that a purchaser will like an animal they purchase from us. An animal represents a Potential. We are under no obligation to take any animal back once it has left the property.
Should the Buyer be unable to keep the animal, the Seller reserves the right to exercise their option to take the animal back into their ownership if the animal in question is in good mental and physical health and can be placed. The returned animal must be accompanied by its owner-signed Registration if any. Depending on circumstances, the Seller may offer a 1 year credit towards a future animal. If there is a Goat of higher value the buyer has the choice to pay the difference, to acquire said animal. Seller may exchange animal or if feasible may help buyer place animal. THERE WILL BE NO CASH REFUNDS.
